Filming with the BBC Countryfile Crew

Filming a piece for BBC Countryfile

I had a great day filming with BBC Countryfile today. The crew came early this morning to film me at my gallery. They were interested in seeing how I set up cameras to record wildlife which I use as research for my paintings. Today they were interested in concentrating on a new feeding post that I was planning for the kestrels that nest in my garden. The presenter was the para olympian Steve Brown, who was a lovely man to work with.

Steve helped me set up the cameras on the new post. Within a few moments the male kestrel came down to feed on the table - result! Hopefully we'll get plenty more action today of the kestrels. This is going to be broadcast on BBC 1 later in May.
