Parking
With priority accessible parking inside the courtyard directly outside the gallery, you can enjoy access to the main exhibition space.
The courtyard is tarmac so is a smooth surface for wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
Entry to the gallery
There is a gently sloped ramp to take you straight into the gallery. Alternatively, there are two shallow steps with a sturdy handrail to take you straight to the entrance door.
Inside the gallery
There are two levels to the gallery. There is a ground level area where the main display of paintings and products and seasonal films are playing. This is also where you will be served a free, freshly-brewed coffee.
There are ample seating areas, for you to sit and relax and the gallery is spacious enough for a wheelchair to be manoeuvred easily on a smooth wooden floor.
Spacious toilet facilities are available and have been designed with wheelchair users in mind.
Upper gallery level
The upper level of the gallery is accessed by a gentle ambulant staircase, with handrails on both sides and a small landing half the way up, making it easier for those with restricted mobility.
There is a seating area in this upper level for visitors to rest and watch the films.
Robert's studio is on this level and this often open for you to look around.
