When barn owls try to move in to tawny owls' Bonnie & Ozzy's favourite nest, they are quickly evicted.
Although tawny owls Bonnie and Ozzy are not using Ash Tree Nest in Ash Wood, they see it as theirs. They used it the previous two years and seem to feel they have territorial rights over it. So when a new male barn owl visits the nest and calls his mate to join him, this tawny pair is quick to see them off.
Seems like the barn owls will have to look elsewhere for a nest!
