Shortly after this new barn owl was spotted courting a female in Ash Wood, he began scraping out a potential hollow for eggs in my Ash Tree nest box. This is a sign that this male is keen to start nesting and could mean we have a new pair to watch this season. However, this could also mean trouble since Ash Tree is a favourite of the tawny owl pair Bonnie & Ozzy.... keep your eye on the live screens to see what happens.
